About Our Citric Acid Monohydrate:
Citric Acid Monohydrate is a tricarboxylic acid found in citrus fruits. Citric acid is used as an excipient in pharmaceutical preparations due to its antioxidant properties. It maintains stability of active ingredients and is used as a preservative. It is also used as an acidulant to control pH and acts as an anticoagulant by chelating calcium in blood.
Uses of our Citric Acid Monohydrate include:
- Food additive- Citric acid is used as a flavouring and preservative in food and beverages, especially soft drinks. It is denoted by E number E330.
- Water softening- Citric acid's ability to chelate metals makes it useful in soaps and laundry detergents.
- Cleaning agent- Also food grade Citric acid can be used for many cleaning purposes such as kettle descaling

Courier Deliveries are scheduled for 48 hours after dispatch. This excludes weekends and bank holidays.
Please ensure you are available to sign for your items on the expected day of delivery.
If the attempted delivery fails, it is your responsibility to contact the courier to arrange a new delivery slot within 48 hours. If this is not actioned, your order will be returned to our warehouse and additional charges will be incurred for reshipment.

Depending on the service chosen (ie 24/48 hour), will determine the length of time expected for your parcel to arrive. This can be between 3-10 days.
