Inhalation: Calcium chloride could irritate esophagus and the stomach.
Skin contact: : N/a
Ingestion: Could cause irritation of mucus membranes of pharinx and throat and unpleasant sensation in mouth already after the first inhalations if high concentrations of dust levels.
Eye contact: Calcium chloride is classified as irritating to eyes, category 2. The effect is however local and uptake or other systemic toxic effects through eye contact are not expected.
